Which Direction Will the Mid-Terms Take America?

Image result for kavanaugh protesters

There are so many conflicting predictions on the November mid-term elections and whether the Democrats will recapture the House and/or the Senate. Up to recently, it was all focused on liberal rage toward President Trump and the lingering resentment over his election. Now it is all about the confirmation circus surrounding Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. As it was, President Trump's choice survived the last minute accusations and the mobs storming Washington over the confirmation.  But will it result in the oft-predicted blue wave in November? Or will there be another red wave as a result of disgust at the actions of the mobs?

Complementing the mobs are the statements of their Democrat proxies in the government.

With the confirmation of Kavanaugh and the process which led to it, (and the treatment of Merrick Garland), the legitimacy of the Supreme Court can justifiably be questioned. The Court must now prove—through its work—that it is worthy of the nation’s trust,” Holder tweeted, referring to former President Barack Obama's Supreme Court nominee whose confirmation process was blocked by Republicans in 2016.
That's rich given that Holder's time as attorney general called into question the legitimacy of the Dept. of Justice. Holder, the architect of Operation Fast and Furious and the Marc Rich pardon, is hardly one to question the legitimacy of anything.
"We will not stop marching, we will not stop fighting," DNC Chairman Tom Perez said in a statement.
Perez, who was one of Holder's top henchman at DOJ and later  secretary of Labor under Obama, is a radical. Of course, he will keep marching. That's what radicals do.
America has been witness to just what the left is all about. We have seen protesters disrupt the confirmation hearings. We have seen them pounding on the door to the Supreme Court. University professors, like Juan Cole at the University of Michigan, are predicting a new Dark Age with Kavanaugh on the Court. We have seen Hollywood go bonkers convicting Kavanaugh of rape as soon as the first woman made her accusation-with zero proof. We have seen the unfairness of the media led by CNN and MSNBC.
On the other hand, did we see people rioting in Washington when President Obama was sworn in? No. That's what we saw when Trump was inaugurated. When have we ever seen Republicans engage is sheer character assassination when Presidents Clinton and Obama put their Supreme Court nominees before Congress? We have seen it with Robert Bork, Clarence Thomas, and now Brett Kavanaugh. Even if you take issue with how the Republicans refused to even consider Merrick Garland when he was nominated by Obama, they never tried to destroy his life and his family. No right wing mobs descended on Washington to protest the elevation of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Elena Kagan, or Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court.
The question in November is whether we turn Congress over to the Democrats, who would continue to drag out the Kavanaugh affair, stonewall future judicial picks, and even try impeach Trump-in other words, act as proxies for the left-wing mobs, the universities,  Hollywood and the media.
