I'm a Brit.. What's the matter with the grass? Standard colour and short as one would expect. The sky is kinda grey, the billboard is standing up okay.. What's the problem?
Aha! It's a culture specific joke. That's why you don't get it. It is directed to the American baseball fan. Let me walk you through it.
The Cincinnati Reds have baseball's worst record thus far this year, something like 5-21.
In American ball parks, the electronic scoreboards send out various messages and ads throughout the game things like exhorting the fans to cheer. If you look at the red colored railing, I have inserted the word, "Pray" instead of cheer. On the right side of the scoreboard I have pasted over ads with my own for Lifebuoy soap, a famous American soap. It say's, The REds use Lifebuoy and they still stink. This was borrowed from what actually happened many decades ago in Philadelphia when the Phillies were the worst team in the league.
Finally, I changed the line score to reflect the REds losing the game. In the original photo, they were winning.
Just a little Americana for our British cousins from across the pond.
