So You Want to Attend Mass in France?

Hat tip Jihad Watch

St Denis Basilica

This is what happened Sunday evening at St Denis Basilica outside Paris during evening mass. Muslim migrants attempted to storm inside. Apparently, they don't like the idea of a Christian church located in what has become a heavily Muslim neighborhood. (Construction on the church began in 1134.)

You are one Dumb man, Gary Fouse.

No, you are dumb, Mr Anonymous.

First of all, I don't trust these fact check sites as many of them have their own agendas. It is evidenced here by their statement that the protesters were "escorted out" by police. Go back and watch the video. They had to be removed by force.

I will stand by my impression of the video.

You aren't just Dumb Gary Fouse, you are RETARDED!!!

"First of all, I don't trust these fact check sites as many of them have their own agendas."

Same can be said of JihadWatch, a site run by a Melkite Catholic Priest named Robert Spencer, who constantly attacks Muslims to distract from the Massive amounts of Pedophilia and Child Rape being committed by his fellow Catholic Priests.

"This is what happened Sunday evening at St Denis Basilica outside Paris during evening mass. Muslim migrants attempted to storm inside."

There was NO Mass being held when the video was taken. Also there is no evidence that the protesters were either Illegal Migrants or Muslims (many migrants to Europe come from the heavily Christian countries of Sub-Saharan Africa).

"Apparently, they don't like the idea of a Christian church located in what has become a heavily Muslim neighborhood."

Since we cannot confirm the religion of the protesters, we cannot even begin to conclude their motives for the protest.

Get a Clue Moron.

Do me a favor and go hang yourself. Then maybe we'll find out you have a name. I will give you three guesses as to the religion and immigration status of the protesters, and the first two don't count.

No more comments from you will be posted.

(You don't even have to gonads to put your name out there. That tells us a lot.)

I don't think that Anonymous makes a very good case when he/she makes personal attacks and calls you names.

That said, Snopes is a pretty reliable site. What I like about them is that they update their stories and provide corrections when new information comes to them. This particular article makes some pretty good points.

I find it troubling when people are so eager to dismiss fact check sites while uncritically accepting other sources.

Is it possible that Snopes has an agenda? Sure. But don't tell me that "Jihad Watch" doesn't, or that it adheres to some sort of higher journalistic standard.

How about being critical of EVERYTHING we read and not just the things that disagree with what we already believe?

Your points are good. I just think that when you call yourself "Fact Check", there should be no agenda. Yes, Jihad Watch has an agenda, and so does Fousesquawk. We are engaged in opinion-based writing. That does mean that we don't try to get it right. I place more trust in Jihad Watch than I do certain other anti-jihad sites, which I look for extra-extra corroboration.

I think the video speaks for itself in that the protesters were engaged in a disruption and had to be forcibly removed by police at the church in the St Denis part of Paris, which is mostly Muslim immigrants and has a lot of problems. Whether or not there was a mass in progress is hardly the most important part.

Let me put it this way about Snopes:

I have seen people on both the right and the left complain about it.

This makes me think that they're doing SOMETHING right.

Possibly. I don't follow Snopes.
