Michelle Goldberg, who describes herself as a feminist Jacobin, has a "shocking" op-ed in the New York Times that says Al Franken (D-MN) should resign from the US Senate in the wake of his groping scandal.

One wonders what must be on the front page of the Times today- perhaps the news that the Titanic has arrived in New York Harbor? Perhaps, the sports page is reporting that Yankees are moving to Tulsa. Of course, the lady hastily adds that a woman should be appointed in Franken's place. Hillary Clinton, perhaps? All she has to do is move to Minnesota.
At least Goldberg is miles ahead of MSNBC's Kasie Hunt, who reported on air yesterday (twice) that Franken's transgression was a "mock groping".

You have to hand it to these liberals. They can be funnier than...well, Al Franken.
