Another Black Eye for UC Davis: US Flag "Optional"
A couple of years ago, the student government at UC Irvine embarrassed the school when it tried to remove the US flag from the room they were meeting. After a national reaction, it was restored. Now UC Davis is learning what kind of negative reaction this move can bring. Even worse, it comes at the initiative of a recently naturalized student.
