Erwin Chemerinsky
UC Irvine Law School Dean Erwin Chemerinsky has an op-ed in today's Orange County Register arguing that Democrats in the Senate should filibuster Neil Gorsuch's Supreme Court nomination. He also says that Gorsuch is "outside the mainstream" and that Trump should have appointed a moderate.
"Very conservative nominees, who are outside of the judicial mainstream, should not be appointed and will be opposed."
"President Trump could have picked a moderate Republican to fill the seat on the court left vacant by the death of Justice Antonin Scalia."

How about a liberal justice -like Chemo for example? Was he arguing for a moderate justice when Obama was nominating Sonia Sotomayor and Kagan to the SC? Of course not. Liberals like Chemo only suggest a moderate when a Republican is in the White House.
Gorsuch is a distinguished jurist. Yet here we have Chemo-supposedly one of the top constitutional attorneys in the US- calling him "out of the mainstream". What rubbish. Now he says the Dems should filibuster.
Chemo is nothing more than just another liberal attorney who bends the law to suit his world view. He proved it here yet again.
