While police in the Rhineland focused their forces (1,000 officers) on Cologne to prevent a recurrence of sexual assaults by mostly North African immigrants on New Years Eve, most of the trouble was in Dortmund, where immigrant mobs threw fireworks at passersby, police and eventually set the roof of a historic church alight.
