So now, after a shootout with police in Linden, New Jersey, the FBI and police have a man in custody who they believe is the one who left bombs in New York City and New Jersey over the weekend. His name is Ahmad Khan Rahami, 28, of Elizabeth, New Jersey and originally from Afghanistan. Now the investigation continues as to any accomplices and whether he was linked to terror groups directly or merely acting as a lone wolf. This morning, Fox News' Catherine Herridge reported that according to her sources within law enforcement, two other men were seen on surveillance videos showing the man who placed the bombs and that they believe others than just Rahami were involved.
Of course, the media is still talking about a search for motive. We can put that to rest.
It was jihad. Want more? As usual, the British tabloid, Daily Mail, seems to be ahead of the US media. He and his family brought a lawsuit claiming their business was discriminated against because they were Muslims.
