It Was Ransom

As White House spokeshole Josh Earnest was insisting to reporters that the $400,000,000 handed over (in cash) to the Iranians from an unmarked cargo plane was not ransom, one of the released American hostages was telling another reporter of how he waited at Teheran airport for that plane to arrive before he was released.

Once again, we are being brazenly lied to by President Obama, his spokeshole, and his State Department. As a retired DEA agent, this reminds me of the biggest dope deal in history. In fact, this is how large drug transactions go down. Keep in mind that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard leadership is bragging that it was ransom.

What kind of foreign policy are we dealing with here? From the Iran nuke deal to the overthrow of the Libyan government to Benghazi to the Russian reset to the "red line" in Syria to support for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt to the abandonment of Iraq after so much blood and treasure to unsecured secretary of state emails for four years, to the admission of Syrian refugees this administration has shown a shocking lack of sound judgment.
