Hamed Abdel-Samad is an apostate from Islam residing in Germany. In this German TV interview, he explains that Islam is not compatible with the German constitution. Gates of Vienna has posted this interview in German with English sub-titles. It lasts about 3 and a half minutes and is well worth a listen.

It is all very simple if one is willing to forget about political correctness. As Abdel-Samad says, Islam is not only a religion, but a political ideology. If you believe your country's constitution guarantees freedom and equality to women; if you believe your constitution guarantees freedom of religion and freedom of expression, then Islam is not compatible with your constitution. If you don't understand why, you need to brush up on sharia law.
