Now that the FBI has released what appears to be their final comment on the stabbing attack at UC Merced last year, the school's chancellor has sent a missive to the campus that "All is well".

Unfortunately, not all is well. Even if Faisal Mohammad had no documented link to other terrorists or groups, he was clearly inspired by ISIS.
In addition, it is now imperative that the full manifesto retrieved from Mohammad be released. We have bits and pieces, but even one word, phrase or, for example, reference to Jews would be important.
If there is any information out there that would educate the public as to what risks they might be facing in Merced or anywhere else, it should be released.
