This morning, on the anniversary of the Charlie Hebdo massacre, an unidentified man armed with a knife and apparent suicide vest screamed, "Allahu Akhbar" as he tried to rush into a police building in Paris. He was shot dead.

"Selon une source policière, plusieurs témoins l'ont entendu crier «Allah akbar» alors qu'il tentait d'agresser un policier à l'accueil. L'assaillant était armé d'un couteau et d'un dispositif pouvant être un gilet explosif. Son identité reste à confirmer."
"According to a police source, several witnesses heard him cry, "Allahu Akhbar" as he tried to attack a policeman in the reception area. The assailant was armed with a knife and what may have been an exploding device around his waist. His identity remains to be confirmed."
According to Fox News, his name was Sallah Ali. He also had a piece of paper indicating that ISIS was responsible for the attack.

According to the French blog, Francois Desouche, police linked the dead man's prints to someone identified as Ali Sallah, born 1995 in Casablanca, Morocco.

Yet, the identity is not formally established since according to Desouche, the dead man appears to be more than 20 years of age.
