Hat tip Campus Reform
UC Skate Board
One of the most embarrassing episodes in UC Santa Barbara's recent history has come to a close with a settlement between pro-life protesters and the university after they were assaulted by a professor (Mireille Miller-Young), who thought she had a right to yank their signs away from them.

I think an apology from both the university and Miller-Young would have been appropriate.

The link you posted leads to a "service temporarily unavailable" notice.
I don't know why the university should apologize. The professor was certainly acting outside the scope of her employment, expressing a personal opinion.
But as I said before, to your utter shock and dismay, the professor should have done five years for intimidating persons in the exercise of their constitutionally protected rights.
