She speaks out against such practices as forced female circumcision and the subjugation of women in Islam, which naturally makes her unpopular in many Muslim circles. Sponsored by Young Americans for Freedom, a conservative student group she spoke recently at the University of Michigan and showed her fil, Honor Diaries.
