When I was a DEA agent stationed in Bangkok from 1975-78, the Thai police had a novel way of presenting suspects to the media after making drug busts. They would have the suspect pose pointing to the dope as the cameras clicked as if to say,
"Dat's a my dope."
I was reminded of that when I saw this article about one of the Bangkok suspects who the Thai cops have in custody.

So before we hear some CNN anchor or reporter ask on camera, "Why?" let me offer up my own answer to that question.
