Hat tip Investigative Project on Terrorism

Hussam Ayloush is the CEO of the Council on American Islamic Relations in Southern California, an organization which masquerades as a mainstream Muslim civil rights organization. In reality, it is an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt with links to Hamas, a State Department designated terror organization that rules Gaza.

Ayloush has a habit of putting his foot in his mouth when pressed,. So he did with this latest description of Hizbollah, another terrorist organization based in Lebanon. Hizbollah is currently sending its fighters to Syria to fight on the side of Bashar Assad, whom Ayloush opposes. So now, Ayloush says that Hizbollah are terrorists while fighting in Syria. Not however, when they are committing acts of terrorism against Israel.

As the above article points out, Ayloush has a ready answer if you ask him about CAIR supporting or disowning Hamas. He calls you a bigot. That is what he did at the referenced event in Anaheim. He also did it to me shortly thereafter in Riverside  in November 2013 when I asked him why CAIR would invite a man like Siraj Wahhaj to be a speaker at the above event. I also asked him why he said nothing about the plight of Syrian Christians as he was giving his description of the war in Syria.

In response he dismissed me as a bigot.

Later, on January 9, 2015, I attended an event at the Islamic Center of Orange County in which he appeared as a panelist discussing ISIS. (Theme: ISIS is not Islamic.) On that evening, he stated that according to US Government estimates only a dozen or so American Muslims had joined ISIS. He then asked why nobody was talking about the "thousands of young Jewish men who were joining the Israeli Defense Forces killing the people of Gaza".

All of the above statements by Ayloush are on videotape.

In reality, Ayloush is such an easy adversary. All you have to do is cut through his BS and ask him the right questions. He can't deal with them. All he can do is call you a bigot.
