UC Santa Cruz (America's Wackiest University) raised its ugly head a few days ago when it was reported that History of Consciousness professor Angela Davis (Yes, that Angela Davis) spoke at the University of Massachusetts at Amhearst and repeated her long-held view that we should end incarceration.
So I decided to check out the UCSC campus newspaper, The City on a Hill Hill (hardly shining) and see what hi-jinks the little rascals have been up lately. First I all, there is this piece about a group of students referred to as the "Highway 17 Six", who had been arrested for tying themselves to trash cans on a highway and stopping traffic.

And you thought The Irvine 11 moniker was silly.
Not to be outdone, the Students for Justice in Palestine at UCSC resorted to their brown shirt tactics once again blocking access to the library.
