The Students for Justice in Palestine chapter at UC Irvine and the UCI chapter of the Muslim Student Union have predictably jumped into the controversy over the taking down of an American flag. The SJP has issued a silly statement on Facebook condemning Chancellor Howard Gillman (who had criticized the initial move to remove the flag). Truth Revolt has the details.

I wonder if these two groups would support hanging the Palestinian flag at UCI. Would they be on the other side of the argument in that case?
