"Hey, Baby. Wanna take a ride on Air Force One?"
For the umpteenth time President Obama got on Air Force One and flew out to LA with his entourage to conduct critical government business-that is- attend another fundraiser and appear on the Jimmy Kimmel show while his wife flew out on a separate plane to appear on the Ellen Degeneres show. All the while, LA streets were once again clogged to the gills.

How in the world do you justify this kind of expense, even if the President and First Lady had been on the same plane?

Let's solve this once and for all. We need a law that from the time they take office to the time they leave office, presidents shall leave the White House only for the specific conduct of public business, and for two vacations a year to a designated place that is fully secured by the Secret Service. They can relax, travel and enjoy themselves after they retire from office.
Also no campaigning, no fundraising -- leave that to the vice president. This goes for Republicans too.
