By now we all know about the crash of Harrison Ford's private plane. I am very familiar with the area and played golf at the course where he crashed landed, the Pen Mar Golf Course, which is virtually next door to where he took off from at Santa Monica Airport. My father-in-law lived right across the street from the course.
Another trivial item. If you remember the Lennon sisters who used to sing on the Lawrence Welk Show, their father was shot to death at that same golf course.
Here's hoping for a quick recovery for Mr Ford.
