Sacred Cows at UC Berkeley

You can't put a price tag on 4 years of college-especially if you have a kid at UC Berkeley. It seems every week there is a new story about the zaniness that rules at this institution. Here is the latest from Campus Reform. Here is the background: A pizza company puts an inscription on its boxes thanking cows for their milk. Result? Protests.

My mother always told me that you get what you pay for. It is especially true with a college education it seems.

I don't think so Findalis. The more expensive the education these days, the less you get out of it.

I expect Domino's business will increase a bit off of this free publicity.

But perhaps this is the fault of all those children's books with anthropomorphic animal characters. Mice are cute, if you've never had one in your house. Cows have pleasant personalities, if you've never worked in dairy, or on a range. Dogs are males and cats are females, and they marry and have boy puppies and girl kitties, if you don't know any biology.
