Duke professor Omid Safi is really getting his 15 minutes of fame this week what with the Paris attacks and the Duke chapel controversy raging. In this piece in Onbeing.org, he writes very eloquently, but in the final analysis, while condemning the Paris attacks, he still places much of the blame on Charlie Hebdo, the French and the West.

No matter how many times Muslims commit murder, in the end, they are always the victims according to this line of thinking.
