You can't make this stuff up, Folks.
Congressman, comedian and part-time brain surgeon Hank Johnson (D-GA) has made so many boffo statements since he has been in Congress, I don't have time to list them all. The one that puts him in the Idiots Hall of Fame, however, is when he actually said in Congress that he was concerned about more US Marines being in Guam that the island might be in danger of tipping over.
Now comes Johnson telling interviewer Michael Smerconish that Dr Ben Carson, retired neurosurgeon and black conservative commentator, appeals to the ignorant and the lowest common denominator. (He also says Barack Obama is one of the greatest presidents in US history.)

Note to Michael Smerconish: Why in the world would you have such an ignorant buffoon on your show? It can't be for ratings. Was it just for laughs? I thought you were more serious than that.
