UK Primary School Kids Branded as Racists if They Miss Islamic Field Trip

Hat tip Vlad Tepes

Imagine having an 8-year-old kid in primary school. Imagine getting a letter from his school announcing that they are taking the children to an Islamic workshop. Imagine the letter telling you that if little Petie doesn't show up for the trip, a "Racial Discrimination Note" will be placed in his school file labeling him as a racist and that such note will remain his file for the rest of his school career.

You laugh.

The letter: Parents were sent a letter which threatened to brand their children 'racist' if they didn't go

Parents accused Littleton Green community school of 'blackmailing' their children to go to a workshop on Islam

The Face of Hate

Headmistress Lynn Small had to apologise for her original letter and wrote to parents again last night asking them to 'disregard' what she had said
"Heh heh. It was just a joke."

"Good news, mein Fuehrer. Britain has surrendered."

The trip itself is a perfectly valid educational function, as described.

The "Racial Note" is absurd, not matter what the other circumstances.

Also, don't these twits know the difference between racial discrimination and religious discrimination?
