Of course, I am sure Nancy could have waived those rules were Duckworth going to vote for Pelosi's favored candidate in the House democratic election.

I'm still looking for a reaction from the National Organization for Women about this, but I see nothing on their website. I am not holding my breath.

Tammy is my congresswoman and although I don't agree with her on many issues I was appalled by the actions of the Democratic Party.
1. Tammy is a triple amputee not double amputee, 8 months pregnant and not able to travel.
2. Tammy was not going to vote for Pelosi.
I guess that Congresswoman Duckworth should reconsider which party is really having a "War on Women" and vote accordingly.
When has congress EVER allowed "proxy voting"???
I'm all for dumping Pelosi, but its true, the rules ARE the rules.
Didn't the Congress ruled by the Dems change the voting rules to pass Obamacare?
