CAIR Trying to Stoke Fires in Ferguson

Dawud Walid

CAIR Michigan director

Here is yet another example of CAIR's radicalism. With the community of Ferguson, Missouri already in a high state of tension, CAIR's Michigan director, Dawud Walid, is making statements comparing Michael Brown to a radical imam who died in a shootout with the FBI five years ago in Detroit, Luqman Ameen Abdullah.

First of all, Abdullah's killing by FBI agents was as justified as justified can get. He opened fire when they tried to arrest him killing a police dog.

Secondly, Walid himself is a radical with a history of extremist statements.

What CAIR and other so-called US Muslim leaders are doing is a cynical attempt to make allies with other minorities who feel they are downtrodden by an oppressive government and oppressive police. In Ferguson, already a volatile situation, they are, in effect, raising the tension and encouraging violence if they don't get the decision from the county grand jury that they want. And guess what? If you read the tea leaves-that is the gearing up of security and state of emergency declared this week by the Missouri governor- it looks like the troublemakers will not get the decision they want. Grand jury proceedings are supposed to be secret, but is it too much to imagine that the prosecutor has passed the word to the police and governor's office that they just might want to be ready?

 "Uhhhh.......yeaaaah."

Make no mistake: CAIR is a subversive organization that carefully crafts an image of moderation that is really only skin deep. This country badly needs a Justice Department that will fully investigate this organization.
