A State of Palestine? Why?

Hat tip Times of Israel and JJ

Before we rush pell mell toward that goal of a magical Palestinian state, it might be a good idea to read the below article and then ask, "Why?"

http://blogs.timesofisrael.com/clamoring-to-create-another-despotic-corrupt-and-racist-state/

Just what we need: Another corrupt, dysfunctional, autocratic state devoted to destroying Israel, free to establish its own relations with other corrupt, terror-supporting states, eventually to fall into civil war and serving no positive role in the world.

Palestine.

I say no thanks.

Why? Because Israel will have no peace until those residents, or descendants of residents, of the Former British Mandate of Palestine, who do not wish to be part of the State of Israel, have a polity that is not Israel in which to live and govern themselves.

That fact that a large part of those who aspire to be the political leadership of that population advocate the elimination of Israel because they want to rule the entire Former British Mandate of Palestine really doesn't change the imperative of the first paragraph.

They can't have the entire territory. They must have a portion of the territory.
