Here's a human interest story that will warm your hearts. With a city council election upcoming in the Orange County community of Lake Forest (formerly El Toro), the mayor pro-tem has been caught stealing the campaign posters of one of his rivals. (But he is only a "person of interest".)

"Calling the incident, at 2 a.m. Thursday, a misunderstanding, Nick said Friday he had taken Voigts’ signs to move them to a better location, though he had not asked his permission to do so."
In case you are wondering, both Nick and Voigts are Republicans. Go figure.
