The Big "International Day of Rage" at UC Berkeley

Hat tip Bay Area Bay Bloggers

A few weeks ago, UC Berkeley's court jester, Hatem Bazian, declared September 23 to be an "International Day of Rage" against Israel. Not a day of rage against ISIS and its beheading of Westerners, not a day of rage against the carnage being committed by Arabs against Israelis, Jews or other Arabs, not a day of rage against the fires burning in Arab lands. No, it had to be a day of rage against Israel. This goes beyond beating a dead horse; it is becoming downright pathetic and boring. That's apparently the reaction they got from the students on campus.

I see from the photos that aside from the Students for Justice in Palestine, they drew the usual crowd of 1960s burnouts, like Professor Emeritus Andrew Gutierrez, who became famous a couple of years back when he gave the finger to and heckled Jewish students who were peacefully protesting swastikas on campus. Code Pink, Women in Black? You bet'cha.

I wonder if Bazian gave another of his stem winder speeches calling for an intifada in the US.
