Just as OJ Simpson told the court he was "100% absolutely not guilty" then didn't testify, Lois Lerner comes forth with her lawyers to state that she didn't do anything wrong after twice having taken the 5th before Congress.

What arrogance! If she didn't do anything wrong, she could return to Congress and testify fully. That she will not do. Nor will she produce her official communications, which IRS won't do either. Lerner Knows that she doesn't have to fear the Justice Department. They have her back because they know the White House and certain members of Congress were complicit in the conspiracy to hassle the Tea Party and other conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status in order to participate actively in the presidential election.
The only thing Lerner is worried about is her public image.

Does this mean she will have to testify before Congress?
Thats what Issa wants
Like I always say, what she did was a perfectly reasonable thing to do, although she doesn't seem capable of saying so, which suggests she might have muddled, less admirable motivations for having done the right thing.
Hopefully she will have the gumption to back to congress and say, my lawyers advised caution, which is part of their job, but having carefully thought over my decisions during the period in question, I am here to testify that there was a perfectly sound reason to do exactly what I did, and then set forth what that is. If she's lucky, she will do so as succinctly as I have in previous Fousesquawk comments.
It does raise some questions about her competence that she hasn't done so herself long since.
Democrats are spineless, Republicans are psychopaths. God save the republic.
