The Southern California chapter of CAIR is holding their annual banquet November 8 at where else? The Anaheim Hilton. And not surprisingly, they have a controversial speaker, Johari Abdul-Malik, the outreach director for the notorious Dar al Hijrah mosque in Falls Church, Virginia, which has been the "nest' for several notable terrorists including Anwar Awlaki. Here is what Discover the Networks has to say about Abdul-Malik.

It gets better. Here is what the Investigative Project on Terrorism has to say about Abdul-Malik:

However, the keynote speaker is a Yemeni journalist, politician and human rights activist named Tawakkol Karman. She is the first Arab woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize (2011) for her opposition to the Yemeni dictatorship. So far so good. In 2013, she ruffled some feathers in Egypt when she referred to Mohammad Morsi as the "Arab world's Mandela".

So as I see it, CAIR is featuring a man from a mosque with one of the worst records in the US for breeding radicals, who advocates the dominance of Islam in America, and a woman who has ties and sympathies to the Muslim Brotherhood (which, of course, CAIR does as well).
But CAIR is a moderate organization.
