As we speak, John Kerry is asking Turkey to help obtain the release of an Israeli soldier kidnapped by Hamas yesterday during a supposed cease fire.

This morning's news indicates the soldier was killed, not captured, or so Israeli authorities are saying. So who do you suggest President Obama seek help from? It would have to be someone who has the ear of Hamas, or they would be no help. They have to be at least on bare speaking terms with us, or we couldn't enlist their help.
If you wanted to work out an understanding for tactical reasons with the leader of a drug gang, who would you ask to be your intermediary? MADD? Or someone in the neighborhood known to get along with them?
If you would NEVER have done such a thing for ANY reason... well, are you saying President Obama shouldn't even TRY to help in ANY way???????????
