In what can only be described as the biggest non-binding resolution in the history of history, the California legislature took time out from its busy duties of passing more taxes, fees, and regulations in order to vote that the Washington Redskins change their offensive name.

Yeah, this makes about as much sense as the LA county board passing a resolution denouncing ISIS.
I get your point, but at least the LABS (no pun intended) make a statement that might educate a few more low information voters.
Well, sure, that's the boilerplate argument for any resolution passed by any board about matters outside its jurisdiction.
