In another twist of irony, Saudi Arabia sits on the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva. In this video the Saudi representative tries to shut down a statement by Josephine MacIntosh, a young NGO rep who is addressing Saudi Arabia's unjust treatment of two of its citizens who have been imprisoned for speaking out on freedom of religion and expression. Three times, the Saudi rep interrupts a 2-minute statement. Fortunately, the US, Irish, French and Canadian reps stand up for the young lady and she is allowed to finish her statement.
