Hat tip Investigative Project on Terrorism
As our feckless president dithers over what to do about the terrorist armies spreading across Syria and Iraq, here is another factor we need to consider. The IRIS forces are making almost daily statements that they will terrorize Europe, carry out executions in Trafalgar Square, and take their terror to the US. Now comes the threat of a second Holocaust against Israel.

At this point, the most we can expect is that Obama will order air strikes against ISIS in Iraq if he feels it is necessary to save the Iraqi regime in Baghdad. There are valid arguments as to staying out of the conflict and letting the various forces kill themselves to their hearts content. It is admittedly a hard choice. We already know that some of these combatants who reside in the West will likely come back with plans to attack us. It is also tempting to take out as many as we can from their air.
As for the threats against Israel, keep in mind that they are already fighting in Syria, which borders Israel. I have a suspicion that the Israelis can handle any threats from this army of barbarians. But what if Israel asks us for help in the event of attacks coming out of Syria? Remember the rebels in Syria (select groups) are supposed to be the side we support against Assad. It would be a true test of our commitment to Israel if the rebels in Syria started attacking Israel. At this point, our feckless president would have no idea whom to bomb.
Hopefully, he will stand with our ally, Israel. Not that I want to see ground troops in the Middle East again. I don't. However, there are a lot of bad guys running around Iraq and Syria that I would like to see blown to smithereens. We could do a lot of damage from the air.

I think Obama will stay on the sidelines and watch until there are no good options. I don't think doing nothing and let them kill each other will work either. The Iraq/ Iran war had about million dead at the end and what difference does it make now?
We need a leader with some intelligence and cajones.
If we are going to rely on air power alone it will have to be as massive as the campaign in the Balkans. Does anyone see Obama doing that?
If Israel asks Obama for financial help in case of an attack against it, Obama is likely to set up some commission to study the matter for a couple of months. No wonder countries like Poland and Israel and our other former allies don't feel they can depend on this administration.
