John Kerry joined with Angelina Jolie this week in London at an international conference on wartime rape

All I can say is that I am all for it. Rape is a heinous crime, and sadly, it is not always treated that way-even in our own US courts. In the wars that are raging around the world and the sectarian violence we see, rape is often used as a tool a form of conquest, if you will. To that extent, if that conference can result in more prosecutions in the International Court in The Hague, I say well and good.
But if I may, I just wonder since this was being held in London, and the UK happens to be the sexual grooming capital of the world, was anything said about that? Was anything said about the epidemic of rapes in Sweden and Norway?
"But," you say, "we are talking about war time rape. Those 3 countries are hardly at war."
To that point, let me get technical. The rapists who are committing those crimes think they are at war in their own way. They are committing crimes specifically against non-Muslim women, and a large part of the motivation is conquest.
Oh, did I mention that the perpetrators of these crimes are invariably Muslim men?
So my question remains, "Was any of this discussed in London?" I seriously doubt it.
