It appears that Calgary of all places is a hotbed of Islamist activity in Canada. One of their local imams is a guy from Pakistan named Syed Soharwadi, who insists he is a moderate and against violence. Yet he has spoken at a rally in which Hizbollah flags were waving, has stated that, "Sharia cannot be customized for specific countries. These universal, divine laws are for all people of all countries for all times", has accused Christian missionaries who went to Indonesia to help after the tsunami of kidnapping Muslim children to convert them, and has quoted from Muslim Brotherhood spiritual mentor and Jew hater Yusuf al Qaradawi.
Other than that, he is a true moderate.

Courtesy of Vlad Tepes, here is a TV exchange between Soharwadi and Sun News commentator Ezra Levant, whom Soharwadi had dragged before the Human Rights Commission in Canada for publishing the Danish Mohammad cartoons. This is good stuff because Levant takes no prisoners. In fact, this is better than a Calgary Stampede.

When you have an oil boom, you are going to get beefy muscular construction workers from wherever people willing and able to do the job may be available. Since the Nordic types have better paying and less strenuous jobs, as do most Jews for that matter, guess who's going to be in the mix? And where any sizeable population moves, there you will find their clergy also.
