Hat tip Orange County Independent Task Force on Anti-Semitism and John Speedie for audio
In the recent wave of anti-Semitic incidents on US campuses, Vassar College has been in the forefront, thanks, as usual, to their chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine. Here is the latest outrage, in which they used Nazi-era cartoon imagery to make their point.

It is encouraging that Vassar's president (finally) is asking if this organization should be recognized on campus. Hopefully, somebody in authority will decide that the SJP has worn out its welcome. Hopefully, other universities will do the same and boot this anti-Semitic organization.
Here is a little history on the SJP as written by Daniel Greenfield in Frontpage Magazine.

And who is a co-founder of this organization? Why none other than our old friend, Hatem Bazian, who went on from his student activist days at San Francisco State to become a professor at UC Berkeley, where he has established the Zaytuna Islamic College and something he calls the Islamophobia Research and Documentation Center.
Hatem Bazian
Here is an interesting factoid: Many, if not most of the SJP members are also members of the respective campus Muslim Student Associations. Could it be that this organization was created to allow the MSAs to stand in the background and let the SJPs do the more "in-your-face" dirty work? Just wondering.
I'll bet Bazian knows.
