The Rutgers-Rice Mess: Teachers Pushing Students to Protest

Hat tip Campus Reform

The Rutgers University flap over the cancellation of Condi Rice's commencement speech has gotten more interesting now that e-,mails have surfaced showing Rutgers professors pushing their students to engage in protests against Rice.

How unprofessional it is for teachers to be egging on their students to engage in protests. Obviously, in the case of the Muslim Student Association and Students for Justice in Palestine, they need no egging on, but apparently, some were intimidated.

Ah, grey-haired women and men who spent their post-adolescent years chanting "Don't trust anyone over 30" trying to regain their youth vicariously by egging on a new generation to act as a surrogate for their unassuaged sense of rage.

Pathetic, in the clinical sense of the term.
