James O'Keefe Strikes Again
Hat tip Project Veritas and Creeping Sharia
In the 1970s and 80s, FBI agents conducted an undercover sting posing as Arab oil barons bribing members of Congress. It came to be known as Abscam.
Now James O'Keefe and his Project Veritas have release undercover video and audio of conversations his operatives held with Hollywood figures such as director Josh Tickell and his wife Rebecca, Ed Begley Jr, and Mariel Hemingway by which "Arab oil barons" were willing to pay them 9 million dollars to produce an anti-fracking movie. Creeping Sharia has a post on the story today with a couple of tidbits of the recorded conversations. This is just the opening salvo. More are to come.

This opens up the question when you go back through all those left-wing movies with political messages that have been produced throughout the decades, how many directors, producers, and actors have been paid off by unknown sources to make those movies?

Gary, if you don't know the difference between "Arab oil barons" and "left wing," you are a lot more ignorant that I've been taking you for the last five years or so.
It seems there is also great profit in being left wing. Too bad for for O'Keefe's targets they didn't know the difference.
Indeed. But the profit is in being trendy, not in being left wing.
The difference is whether you spend four years raucously demonstrating on college campuses, then get a nice paying job and build a beautiful house in the suburbs, or, whether you go to work in a paper mill right out of high school, and devote your life to organizing union locals in nursing homes while buying a modest home in a reasonably well maintained working class neighborhood.
There are other variations on the theme, but nothing "left wing" in this scandal.
