Rutgers Sit-in to Protest Condi Rice

Rutgers Universaity students and faculty are unhappy over the invitation to Condi Rice to speak at their university.

The sit-in was one of the largest in Rutgers' history, according to The Daily Targum, a student newspaper.

50 students!!??

First of all, they should feel honored to have Rice come. They should also be happy that she only charges $35,000. They could have Bill Clinton for $250,000.

Secondly, Rutgers is no paragon of virtue. This is the school that has been the subject of a Dept. of Education Office of Civil Rights investigation over charges of anti-Semitism.

This is the place that recently hosted a workshop for guys on how to give orgasms to their girlfriends.

This is the school whose newspaper published a piece pointing out the good things Hitler did (autobahn, Volkswagen).

So Rutgers should be happy that someone of Rice's stature and dignity is coming-and at a cheap price at that. She will go a long way to repair Rutgers' image.
