Comments on the Apartheid Wall at UC Irvine

Today, I took a few photos of certain panels on the Muslim Student Union apartheid wall at UC Irvine as part of their week of anti-Israel events. I would like to comment on their messages.

John Kerry should see this the next time he prattles on about a 2-state peace treaty. As you can see, the green (Gaza and West Bank) are "Palestine", while everything white is "occupied lands:. Translation: It is all Palestine. They want it all. That is the goal. "From the river to the sea". Even those Palestinians who are willing to negotiate a two-state treaty now see it only as a transition stage-a first step.

There is a difference between black Ethiopian Jews, whom Israel willingly brought into the country several years ago and Africans fleeing the poverty and violence of other African countries. Many are fleeing to Italy. Many are fleeing to Spain. Many are fleeing to Greece, and many are fleeing into Israel (They expect better treatment in Israel than in nearby Arab countries-with good reason.) All of these countries are trying to figure out what to do with them rather than let them flood into the respective countries without any control. First and foremost, They are not legal immigrants. Have there been some natives who react against black refugees or don't want blacks in their countries in large numbers? I guess so, but don't take isolated incidents to make your case unless those incidents are the rule. This is not an easy situation for any country to deal with, and Israel, like the European countries, is attempting to resolve it in as humane a manner as possible.

This is a real rogue's gallery listed on the panel above. None of these organizations even believes Israel has a right to exist and are working for its destruction.

Say no more than George Galloway, the founder of VP. George is a friend of Bashar Assad, the Hamas government of Gaza, and was a friend and supporter of Saddam Hussein and his murderous sons. Last I heard the VP convoys were dead in the water.

Free Gaza Movement- A real collection of misfits including Greta Berlin and Paul Larudee. Another group dedicated to assisting the terrorist government of Gaza, which as stated, is Hamas.

Anarchists Against the Wall

This rag-tag group is led by Israeli anarchist (by his own admission) Matan Cohen, an arrogant young punk, who has gotten his education in the US while trashing his own country. He does the US university lecture circuit and makes pronouncements  on whom should have the right to speak out on the Israeli-Palestinian issue in our country. He lost one of his eyes while battling against IDF soldiers, and to this day, it's the greatest thing he has ever done in his life.

Jewish Voice for Peace

One of the most insidious Jewish organizations in the US because what they want is the destruction of Israel. They came to speak at UC Irvine a couple of years ago (along with Cohen). They are a hysterical bunch of misfits. Their claim to fame was disrupting the speech of Bibi Netanyahu in New Orleans a couple of years ago.

International Solidarity Movement

This organization was founded by Palestinians and is dedicated to the destruction of Israel by enlisting young Western activists to their cause to come and participate in protests against Israel. This is the organization that drew the American Rachel Corrie to Gaza, where she was run over by an Israeli bulldozer she was attempting to stop from demolishing a house connected to terrorist activities. Incredibly, some of the co-founders of this organization are now the West Bank tour contacts and guides for the UC-Irvine-initiated Olive Tree Initiative, which takes students of all backgrounds on a tour of the Holy Land. It is advertised as neutral, but according to many observers, is actually slanted to the Palestinian narrative. Nevertheless, Jewish students who go on this trip receive funding from the Rose Project, a financial subsidiary of the Jewish Federation of Orange County. Go figure.

The Muslim Student Union should have thought twice about putting up the names of these groups. Any close examination would reveal that they are nobody one would be proud to be associated with.
