This is refreshing. The United Nations has found someone other than Israel to criticize.

Though the Fox Report focuses on the persecution of the Christians, the plight of the Baha'i is especially serious because they are regarded as heretics from Islam by the regime. Most of the Baha'i leadership is in prison on trumped up charges and their followers are subject to arrest, violence, rape and murder within Iran.
This is a particularly vicious regime that not only persecutes its religious minorities but is a leading supporter of international terrorism.
Interestingly, in the posting I just put up today, two British-based speakers at the May 31 Islamic Center of North America (ICNA) conference in Anaheim are linked to Iran's English language organ Press TV. They are Yvonne Ridley and Abdullah al Andalusi. Ridley was a correspondent and commentator while Andalusi has been interviewed on Press TV numerous times.
Shame on ICNA for bringing in anyone connected to the Iranian regime, and shame on our State Department for allowing them to enter the US.

Yvonne Ridley? The understudy from "A Lion in Winter"?
Lioness in winter. She was so obnoxious the Taliban kicked her loose rather than put up with her one more day.
She's a woman. Ought to know what the Taliban considers to be the proper function of women.
