Methodist Church Leadership in UK

Barry Shaw has written this article for the Paltalk News Network. It is troubling to me as a Christian. Recently, I have been posting critical  articles about the anti-Israel stance of the Presbyterian Church USA. Now I am pained to cross-post one about the Methodist Church in the UK, which has also aligned itself against Israel.  Though I do not come from a religious family, my mother had Methodist roots, and in my younger day, I attended a Japanese-American Free Methodist church in Los Angeles, which I can assure you was not anti-Semitic and never delved into these kinds of matters.

Isn't it amazing how many Christian leaders are prostrating themselves to the very forces that are not only trying to destroy Israel, but are carrying out pogroms and persecutions against Christians all over the Islamic world? This, at a time when Christians and Jews should be standing shoulder to shoulder. Do these idiots even know what is happening to Christians in Syria and Egypt as we speak? Even in formerly majority Christian Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus, the Christians are now a minority and more are leaving. And where was the outrage in 2002 when PLO gunmen took over the Church of the Nativity during the Second Intifada and desecrated it?
