As they say in diplomatic circles, John Kerry has had a quite "constructive" week. First, he spent four hours with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas in Amman, Jordan talking about a peace treaty with Israel -and got nowhere.

Then he flew to Paris and spent four hours with Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov talking about Ukraine-and got nowhere.

Then it was off to Rome to meet with the Pope. No word on whether he has convinced Francis to OK abortion.
This just breaking: CNN is reporting that Cambodian satellites have spotted an object of interest in the Indian Ocean.
