I am cross-posting an editorial about UC President Janet Napolitano in this week's UC Riverside paper, The Highlander. I have just added my comment and will copy it below in case they don't publish it.

"In my view, you object to Napolitano for the wrong reasons. I hate to break this to you, but people who are in any country illegally are subject to deportation. In fact, DHS did a poor job of protecting our borders under Napolitano's feckless leadership.
In Operation Fast and Furious, Napolitano stood by silently while the DOJ directed ATF to allow thousands of weapons to cross into Mexico without hindrance just so they could produce stats after the fact that most guns in Mexico came from the US-a dubious proposition at best. Her agents actually participated in the operation as part of a task force. The result was a Border Patrol agent killed by one of those weapons, possibly an ICE agent in Mexico, and hundreds of Mexicans followed by a government cover-up.
When Napolitano spoke at UCLA a couple of years ago, I asked her why she wasn't pounding on Eric Holder's desk demanding answers as to why one or two of her agents were dead as a result of Fast and Furious. All I got was a lame answer about her preferring to let the "investigation" play out and a snide remark about me rolling my eyes at her answer.
You should be more concerned that Napolitano will run UC into the ground like she did DHS.
