Allyson Sonenshine, who is an adjunct teacher at UCI. The purpose was to have tea, empower women, and talk about the great aspects of the Affordable Care Act.
(Please don'r blame the staff writer. She's just reporting the event. In other words, don't shoot the messenger.)

I have already sent in my comment, which is pending moderation and may or may not be posted to the online edition. Here it is:
When Professor Sonenshine talks about the millions of uninsured people, I wondering if she is counting the 5-6 million who have lost their insurance because of the ACA and the millions more to come.
Beyond the tea and the empowerment stuff, one thing I learned from working 25 years for the federal government is that, while there are many talented and dedicated people in government, it is by its very nature and size inefficient. If you want a classic example, just look at the rollout, which by the way, will be the least of the problems. This is what happens when you turn something over to the government.
This whole monster will likely collapse under its own weight because they are not getting the very people they need (young people) to enroll and fund it so they can cover the older generation. It promises to be a nightmare.
Enjoy the ride.
