John Kerry Agonistes

A fool running errands
"Curses! Foiled again!"

America's favorite multi-tasker, John Kerry, is busier than a one-armed pizza maker as he heads to Paris in the coming days trying to broker a peace deal for Syria and a peace deal between the Israelis and Palestinians. Meanwhile, those pesky Russians and Iranians keep undermining his efforts to gain that Nobel peace prize

Here's how I see it:

In Syria, you have various foreign jihadists and factions of Al Qaeda, fighting against the forces of Assad, who are backed up by Hizbollah and the Iranians. And you want a cease fire? I say take care of the refugees and the Christian community and let the war continue to the last bad guy.

With Israel, you have the Palestinians refusing to make any concessions, while the Israelis have been pressured by Kerry to release over 100 killers in exchange for the privilege of sitting down and talking with the Palestinians who don't make concessions. For what end-to give up the Sudetenland, er, West Bank to the Palestinians? Keep in mind that even if the Palestinians under Abbas "recognize" Israel's right to exist, it is only a temporary phase until the day when they can make "Palestine free from the river to the sea". And there is still Hamas and Hezbollah, who won't go along and could probably do away with Abbas and his Palestinian Authority anyway whenever they are inclined.

And if that isn't bad enough, we get this report coming out of Europe that Kerry is linked to European boycotts of Israeli products and companies. (Hat tip Jihad Watch)

As President Obama is fond of saying, he has Israel's back.

So good luck, Mr Kerry. Don't forget to pack your umbrella and enjoy the wine.

PS: Stay away from those "no-go" zones in Paris.

Is that busier than a one-legged man in a sack race or an a-- kicking contest?? Just curious.

Or a one-armed paper-hanger with body lice (see how I cleaned that one up??). Sorry.
