You better catch this moment while you can because you may never see me post anything positive about UC President Janet Napolitano again. She has added her voice to dozens of other universities in denouncing the resolution by the American Studies Association to engage in an academic boycott of Israel.

Let's give her the benefit of the doubt because she did the right thing.
As an experienced UC system observer I would attribute it to the fact that UC knows the American Studies Association would lose more in the boycott than the Israeli scholars.... especially considering the level of education and how low our students rank in academic accomplishment world wide.
