Hat tip to Frontpage Magazine and Squid
Daniel Greenfield has written a great piece in Frontpage Magazine in response to the resolution by the American Studies Association to call for an academic boycott of Israel.

Fortunately, dozens of universities around the country have declared their opposition to the measure and a couple have even dropped ASA chapters from their campuses.
Greenfield's point is spot on. In addition, it is time for the public to send a message to the universities that this Palestinian-inspired and organized campaign of demonetization of Israel on college campuses has become tiresome and has created an atmosphere of tension and hostility for Jewish students. Enough is enough.
Jewish students and their parents can decide to study at universities that will protect all their students from harassment. They can vote with their pocketbooks and tuition dollars. In addition, where cases of harassment can be documented, lawsuits should be filed.
Further, those who are knowledgeable about the situation on campus must speak out and educate the community about what is taking place on their tax-payer funded university campuses. Administrators should have their feet held to the fire. If Jewish organizations are not doing enough to stand up for Jewish students then they must be exposed as well. We can begin with the Jewish Federation, Hillel, and the Anti-Defamation League.
It is time to fight back using whatever lawful measures we have at our disposal.
